Everytown is a national coalition of organizations dedicated to gun violence prevention and safety. Everytown began as Mayor’s Against Illegal guns in 2006, formed to help curb the rising tide of gun violence across the United States. In response to the 2012 Newtown Massacre they Rebranded to Everytown and expanded their mission to resource a growing group of grass roots organizations to enact common sense policies at all levels of government.
Over nearly 20 years, Everytown’s efforts have created a survivors network, high profile public awareness campaigns, journalistic publications, educational campaigns, and policy development initiatives,
