Barack Obama’s historic 2008 presidential campaign introduced numerous first-in-class innovations for connecting people with their elected representatives, and each other, online through shared personal narrative and collectively engaging on critical issues. As a Director of Photography based in Chicago and travelling nationwide with candidates Obama and Biden, I filmed, photographed, edited and coordinated logistics for signature content that was viewed by millions and consistently resonated with the rapidly developing narrative surrounding the campaign.
