THE WHITE HOUSE

Early Obama Administration

Inside The White House: The Cabinet

In the early Obama Administration, I served as a Video Producer in the inaugural White House Office of New Media, later renamed the Office of Digital Strategy. Established during the transition from the 2008 Presidential Campaign, this sophisticated digital operation modernized White House communications by encouraging citizen participation with federal government policy initiatives through a complete overhaul of the whitehouse.gov website and multiple interactive software development projects. The effort resulted in the creation of over 1000 videos providing a behind the scenes look at the White House and featuring collaborations between President Barack Obama, A-list celebrities, U.S. government officials, heads of state, business leaders, and everyday U.S. citizens.
